This Weeks Business

happening's day by day

  • Monday-Got back to work and backreamed a few stands...
  • Tuesday-Got there and had to bring down a windwall.  Then we finished pulling out of the hole and got started on breaking down BHA.
  • Wednesday-Reamed the bottom of the hole and started pulling stands
  • Thursday- Ran Intermediate casing all day...
  • Friday- cement day-we got that done and displaced 1200 barrels of mud.  Then we pulled the bop up and vetco set emergency slips and cut the casing. 
  • Saturday-Drilling ahead
  • Sunday-Drilling ahead
  • Monday-Tripping out of the hole to change over from mud motor to the geo pilot
  • Tuesday-Tripping in the hole had to move the super sliders on the way in.
  • Wednesday-Drilling ahead
  • Thursday-Drilling ahead
  • Friday-Backreamed out of the hole.  Got to the shoe and circulated.  We then tripped it back in to TD.
  • Saturday-Finished tripping out of the hole and broke out the BHA.  Went back in with the liner and finished the day tripping in pipe.
  • Sunday-

The History or Story Behind My Site

It all started out when I (hawg) started taking pictures on the rig floor.  I got a picture of the driller.  Everyone loved the picture and laughed.  Well after that I decided to start a website so that those of our families could also take part in what we do.  I thought it would also be very good for our families to put names to the faces that we hear about so much.
